What is LINK?The Ladies International Network København (LINK) is an English-speaking network for all international women in the Copenhagen area. We aim to help our members get the most out of their time in Denmark by offering a wide range of events and interest groups, plus opportunities to make new friends, and to share advice and information. Founded in 1973, LINK is a non-profit organisation run by a committee of volunteers. It is the largest social network for international women in Copenhagen, with over 300 members from 50+ countries. Membership is open to all women in the Copenhagen area. Our members come from around the world, and while we are largely expats, about one third of our membership is Danish, who are interested in joining an English-speaking group and making international friends. |
What do we Offer? |
REGULAR MEETUPSMembers can meet at our many regular groups held weekly and monthly, both daytime and evenings. Groups include wellbeing workshops, coffee mornings, book clubs, restaurant meals and various sports activities, to name a few. Our current subgroup offerings are varied, and this list is constantly evolving as members start up new groups! We also run at least one or two trips or activities a month. These can be anything from museum tours and cultural trips to glass-blowing workshops and ghost walks. SEASONAL EVENTSOur AGM is held every April and is a popular time for many members to come together and celebrate LINK's achievements. It's a chance to find new subgroups to join, and enjoy refreshments and meals together. Throughout the year, we arrange all member events which are in part subsidised by the membership subscriptions, such as summer and christmas parties, entry to the DHL Relay event and in 2024, we celebrated 50 years of LINK with Afternoon cakes and bubbles. MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONSWe have run calendar competitions, asking members to submit their best photographs of Denmark for inclusion in the LINK calendar. We have also released our first cookbook with over 50 recipes submitted by our members. | MEMBER BENEFITS
SPECIAL INTEREST SUBGROUPSOur member-run subgroups cover a wide range of hobbies, sports, and interests. All members are welcome to set up a subgroup if there is sufficient interest, and we will provide support and a small subsidy for this. WANT TO LEARN MORE?Find out more about LINK below: |
